Assured Bio Labs combines environmental microbiology, analytical chemistry, and applied research to help clients investigate contamination, evaluate products, and make informed decisions.
Laboratory Testing
Our commercial laboratory analyzes environmental samples using microscopy, viable culture, molecular methods, and analytical chemistry.

- Environmental monitoring and personnel competency testing for sterile compounding
- Support with sampling requirements, analysis selection, and reporting
Research & Development
We collaborate with clients to design studies and evaluate products, instruments, and methods under defined experimental conditions.

Our People & Purpose
Founded in 2005 by Edward A. Sobek, Ph.D., Assured Bio Labs is based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Our team brings together expertise in environmental microbiology, analytical chemistry, laboratory testing, and biotechnology.
Ph.D.-level microbiologists oversee technical work, supported by trained laboratory personnel and quality control programs. We serve inspectors, industrial hygienists, healthcare organizations, manufacturers, government agencies, and research partners.
Our mission is to help protect the air we breathe through dependable laboratory analysis and the development of practical scientific tools.
