Description
Continuous Sampling for Your Project
WhisperCare® works with M-TRAP® cassettes to collect airborne material for selected fungal and bacterial laboratory analyses. Its low-noise operation supports sampling in occupied residential, commercial, healthcare, and industrial spaces.
The pump collects the sample; laboratory analysis identifies and quantifies the selected targets. WhisperCare® does not provide live microbial readings.
Operating Modes
- Silent Mode: 1.0 liters per minute per cassette; specified acoustical noise of 12 dBA.
- Whisper Mode: 3.5 liters per minute per cassette; specified acoustical noise of 40 dBA.
Noise specifications were measured in an anechoic chamber at a distance of four feet from the air intake ports. Sound levels in an occupied space depend on installation and surrounding conditions.
Plan Your Sampling Period
Continuous collection periods may range from one day to one month, depending on the project and laboratory guidance. Shorter periods may be appropriate in critical locations.
Confirm the operating mode, duration, cassette configuration, and requested analyses with the laboratory before collection. Record the sampling location, flow rate, and start and stop times.
For short-duration M-TRAP® sampling with a compatible standard air pump, see the M-TRAP® sampling information.
