  • The Micro5 IAQ sampling cassette was pioneered to evenly and quantitatively collect mold & fungal spores, fibers, dander, insect components and other airborne contaminants. Deposition of particles/spores onto the adhesive is uniform in all directions due to spore trap design. The Micro5 is designed to operate at a flow ratee of 5 liters per minute for durations ranging from one to 10 minutes. Compatible with traditional vacuum pumps, as well as most portable units. Connect to a vacuum source with either a ½” or ¼” converter or directly with ¼” tubing.

  • The Allergenco-D air sampling cassette was developed for the sampling and collection of aeroallergens and bioaerosols for quantitative analysis of mold spores, pollen, skin fragments, insects, dusts, and other airborne particulates. It has a well-designed impaction trace and collects at a standard rate of 15 liters per minute for durations ranging from one to 20 minutes. Compatible with traditional vacuum pumps, as well as most portable units. Connect to a vacuum source with either a ½” or ¼” converter or directly with ¼” tubing.

  • The HYDRO-FOG® is a commercial grade, disinfectant fogging machine capable of utilizing all water-based, FDA–registered and approved-for-fogging cleaners. With its ultrasonic homogenizers, commonly referred to as “sonicators,” and toggle-enabled heating element, the HYDRO-FOG® provides tremendous versatility and potency. The use of a sonicator rather than the common atomizer gives the HYDRO-FOG® a competitive edge, creating particles of 5 microns or less in size. Compared to atomizer foggers which typically produce particles of around 20 microns in size, the use of sonicators drastically increases surface area coverage. When fogging chemicals, such as peroxide, the heating element plays its part by effectively “activating” the peroxide, increasing its potency. The HYDRO-FOG® can be used across the commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare and residential sectors.

  • Quantification of Lead down to 3 parts per billion (ppb). In water, lead is odorless, tasteless, and invisible, and even low levels are considered dangerous to your health. Contamination comes from lead pipes and lead solder in plumbing infrastructure including service lines; changes in water chemistry can cause corrosion, leading to higher levels of lead being released into the water supply. EPA maximum contamination limit is zero; action is recommended for levels exceeding 15 ppb. Key Reasons to Test Drinking Water for Lead:
    • Plumbing Infrastructure especially for homes built before 1986 and if pipes corrode.
    • Health: lead a toxic and a carcinogen. Even low levels can cause developmental issues in developing babies and children, including cognitive impairment, behavioral problems, and reduced IQ. In adults, long-term exposure may result in kidney damage, high blood pressure, and other serious health conditions.
    • Protect Vulnerable Populations. Testing is especially important in households with young children, pregnant women, or nursing mothers, as these groups are at a higher risk of lead poisoning and its long-term effects.
    • Peace of Mind knowing your family is protected from the harmful effects of lead.
Accreditation American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA)-Environmental Microbiology Laboratory, ID#: 183867 Tennessee DEC Division of Water Resources, Certified Microbiology Laboratory (ID# 03147). The scope of accreditation includes total coliform and E. coli. Kit includes Instructions, Sampling Materials, and Laboratory Analysis 2-Day Lab Turnaround Time
  • Zefon Bio Pump adapter for M-TRAP® air cassettes. Expand into DNA & RNA air sampling by using the M-TRAP® Zefon Bio Pump Adapter. The M-TRAP® is a unique air sampling cassette developed specifically for the rapid capture and analysis of airborne fungi, bacteria, and viruses using state-of-the-art DNA & RNA analysis. Simply attach your adapter to your Zefon Bio Pump, connect your M-TRAP®, and begin sampling! The M-TRAP® is compatible with the Buck BioAire Pump and can be connected via 1/4” tubing commonly used with air sampling pumps that are currently on the market (such as the E-MaxX IAQ Air Sampling Pump). Any and all shipping will be processed on weekdays during hours of operation. Any item purchased after 3:30 pm EST will be processed the following business day.
  • Quantification of Copper down to 0.1 parts per million (ppm). Copper can be found in drinking water due to corrosion of household plumbing systems, natural deposits, and industrial discharge.  Copper exposure can cause gastrointestinal distress, liver or kidney damage. EPA maximum contamination limit is 1.3 (primary) and 1.0 ppm (secondary). Accreditation American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA)-Environmental Microbiology Laboratory, ID#: 183867 Tennessee DEC Division of Water Resources, Certified Microbiology Laboratory (ID# 03147). The scope of accreditation includes total coliform and E. coli. Kit includes Instructions, Sampling Materials, and Laboratory Analysis 2-Day Lab Turnaround Time
  • Microscopy-Based Mold Analysis

    Price range: $31.00 through $54.46

    Microscopy-Based Mold Analysis
MoldScan is Assured Bio’s in-house name for fungal direct examination. Collect a surface sample using a swab or tape lift for laboratory examination of mold spores and other fungal structures.

Surface sample results describe the fungal structures observed and their relative abundance. Identification is based on visible characteristics and generally reports recognizable fungal types or groups rather than species-level identification.

    Choose Your Collection Method

    Swab sampling

    • Wet, uneven, soft, or porous surfaces
    • Areas difficult to reach with a tape lift

    Tape-lift sampling

    • Visible suspected mold growth
    • Hard, flat, nonporous surfaces

    Optional Add-On Analyses

Allergen Check: microscopic examination for the presence or absence of dander, pollen, and insect parts. This does not measure specific allergenic proteins.

Dust Characterization: assessment of dust components such as carbon, dander, natural fibers, starch, synthetic fibers, and wood.

Standard turnaround: 1 business day. The day your sample arrives at the laboratory is day zero.

  • The Basic Bacteria Test detects Coliform and Escherichia coli (E. coli), common bacteria that can pose significant health risks. The Presence/Absence test is an industry standard, as any detection of coliforms or E. coli bacteria in drinking water is considered a health hazard. Consuming water contaminated with these bacteria can lead to recurring gastrointestinal illness, with symptoms such as stomach cramps and diarrhea. Wells and springs can receive contaminants from surrounding land activities or septic systems, and biofilms can become established in plumbing, which is why the EPA recommends annual bacterial testing, as changing conditions can introduce new risks. This test is recommended if:
    • You are served by a private well or spring
    • This is your daily water source
The US-EPA recommends more frequent testing under the following conditions:
    • Small children, elderly adults, immunocompromised, pregnant, or nursing individuals consume the water.
    • After flood events.
    • You notice a musty, moldy, or mildew-like smell or taste in the water, or observe biofilm buildup or other microbial growth on faucets and fixtures.
Accreditation Assured Bio Labs is accredited through the Tennessee DEC Division of Water Resources, Certified Microbiology Laboratory (ID# 03147). The scope of accreditation includes total coliforms and E. coli. Kit includes Instructions, Sampling Materials, and Laboratory Analysis. 2-Day Lab Turnaround Time.
