Easy to use, the copper coupons may be returned to the lab for comparison to coupons that have been corroded by known Corrosive drywall reference materials at no additional charge. The identification of corrosion, utilizing this at home method, may serve as evidence in identifying Corrosive drywall as laid out by the Consumer Product Safety Commission in their 2010 publication Interim Guidance- Identification of Homes with Corrosion from Problem Drywall. -

Organisms included in this assay are: Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus ochraceus, Aspergillus penicillioides, Aspergillus restrictus, Aspergillus sydowii, Chaetomium globosum, Eurotium amstelodami, Paecilomyces variotii, Penicillium chrysogenum, Wallemia sebi, Alternaria alternata, Cladosporium cladosporioides, and Cladosporium herbarum. This test is more comprehensive than the Mold Investigator, but not as comprehensive as the ERMI mold test. ARMI's a good value for more advanced analysis. Sampling device included with purchase.
