The HYDRO-FOG® is a commercial grade, disinfectant fogging machine capable of utilizing all water-based, FDA–registered and approved-for-fogging cleaners. With its ultrasonic homogenizers, commonly referred to as “sonicators,” and toggle-enabled heating element, the HYDRO-FOG® provides tremendous versatility and potency. The use of a sonicator rather than the common atomizer gives the HYDRO-FOG® a competitive edge, creating particles of 5 microns or less in size. Compared to atomizer foggers which typically produce particles of around 20 microns in size, the use of sonicators drastically increases surface area coverage. When fogging chemicals such as peroxide, the heating element plays its part by effectively “activating” the peroxide, increasing its potency. The HYDRO-FOG® can be used across the commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare and residential sectors.

Analysis of Swab or Tape Lift samples using microscopy. Same Day turnaround on projects with less than 20 samples if received before 2:00 PM EST. Regular turnaround time is 24 hours. Rush analysis available at additional cost of $25 per sample during regular hours of operation and $50 per sample for Saturday processing. *Analysis differs from qPCR Tests (like the Big 2 Test). The Direct Exam is primarily used to examine visible mold growth, while qPCR tests are used to examine samples of dust that may contain traces of mold and bacteria.* Any and all shipping will be processed on weekdays during hours of operation. Any item purchased after 3:00 pm EST will be processed the following business day.

This product was designed so that Corrosive drywall may be easily identified by the home owner. The test kit consists of 10 copper coupons for placement throughout the home over a period of 30 days. Easy to use, the copper coupons may be returned to the lab for comparison to coupons that have been corroded by known Corrosive drywall reference materials at no additional charge. The identification of corrosion, utilizing this at home method, may serve as evidence in identifying Corrosive drywall as laid out by the Consumer Product Safety Commission in their 2010 publication Interim Guidance- Identification of Homes with Corrosion from Problem Drywall.
Test Instructions:
Step 1– Remove copper coupons from plastic bags and place them in 10 different locations around the building/structure you are testing. Be sure to not throw the plastic bags away. Do not apply tape or any other substance to the coupons. Step 2– Wait 30 days. Make sure that the copper coupons are not disturbed/damaged. Step 3– After 30 days, collect the copper coupons with gloved hands and place each one individually back in the plastic bags they came in. Step 4– Send the coupons back to our lab and wait for your results!
